Most confusing- Thane-Vashi/Nerul local railway train route

So,finally I m blogging.Since many days I was searching for the topic which is fascinating and helpful for people.I will be blogging on the subject related  Navi Mumbai city.Mind you that I will be only blogging on special and unique things related to this city which you will find helpful when you are visiting this city.

To give you some basic information of Navi Mumbai city.It is also called New Bombay.First of all this city is in Maharashtra State,India. It is located in eastern trans harbour of Mumbai and it is one of the world's largest planned townships.

To start with my topic,let me just brief you on local train railway route.Local trains are meant to be important part of this city.People mostly travel through local trains as they are efficient and faster than any other transportation system in the city. 

Mumbai local train route is divided into 3 lines i.e. Central,Western and Harbour.In this image blue line represents Harbour railway route,green line represents Central.Yellow line represents Thane -Vashi/Nerul railway route. 

To make travelling easy for passengers,various connecting routes have been constructed so that all three lines get together.One of them is Thane-Vashi/Nerul railway route which connects Central and Harbour line via common station Thane.Navi Mumbai city starts from Vashi station till Panvel station.

It has been 4 years since I m travelling this city including Mumbai via local trains.Many times to go to Thane I choose Thane -Vashi/Nerul route as it is very convenient.It has been few years this connecting route has started.The main reason to make this connecting route is to reduce crowd at Kurla station which was only connecting in between the stations before this route came up.

Confusing Part-After travelling for three to four times,I cleared this confusion.Now you must wondering what is the confusing part??....

Here it is.Most people who are first timers have confusion that whether train coming from Thane to Vashi will cover Juinagar and Nerul. And I have witnessed passengers fighting among their circles,some say that train will go to go Jui nagar -Nerul and then come to Vashi ,some say that train wont go to go Jui nagar-Nerul instead it will go to Sanpada and then Vashi. Its fun to watch heated up discussions,but I do tell them when I feel discussion is overheating. 

To clear up the confusion,the trains from Thane to Vashi ....wont go to Juinagar and Nerul. After Turbhe station,train will go via a sort of U shape track(as shown in above figure) to reach Sanpada station and end up at Vashi Station,where as trains from Thane to Nerul/Panvel will go to Jui Nagar  after Turbhe station via straight track(as shown in above picture) and then train will end up at Nerul or Panvel depending on its destination.
